Welcome from the course directors

This course is designed for orthopaedic surgeons and residents who treat pelvic and acetabular fractures, uncommon injuries in which the decisions of the first hours shape the outcome: how to stabilise the patient, when to fix, which approach to choose and how to read the imaging before going to theatre.

On 19 and 20 March in Santiago we will cover management from the initial assessment to proximal femur surgery, with lectures by our international faculty, real clinical cases and a live demonstration from the operating room.

Bring your cases and your questions: peer discussion is at the heart of the course.

We look forward to seeing you in Santiago.
